About the Book:
This book is book 2 in “The Boys of Avix” series and it follows Mason (Ariannas twin brother) and Payton (a family friend).
Payton is a new single mother, doing it all on her own, after her sons father passed away in a tragic accident. While trying to juggle being a young new mother, doing it on her own, her grief with losing her love / father of her child, and trying to rebuild herself and her life, she also struggles with her conflicting feelings when it comes to Mason. A guy she can only see as a friend…she hopes.
Mason is the new captain of his college football team, and while he’s always had a passion for football, he finds himself with what seems to be a new passion in life; to be theirs. However, that’s hard to work for when the girl you’re obsessed with won’t even text you back and barely acknowledges when you’re around. Even harder when she seems to have found a new friend in your best friend. But Mason can’t forget her, can’t forget all the moments with her, and can’t forget the future he so desperately seeks with her.
When Payton is faced with a hard truth, will she confront it? Or will destroy it all by running from it?

“Are you two fucking?”
“You need to stop getting with girls who aren’t available!”

‘I promise.’ “
“You’re not competing, there is no competition, Mason. There’s no competition, and that is the problem.” – Payton
“If you’re mine, he’s mine, too.”
“I understand. He’s just as much yours as he is mine.”
